DJ MADNESS

One of Switzerland's true pioneers of electronic music now shapes the sound of DJ Radio Dubai.

We are delighted to welcome DJ Madness as our new resident DJ.  Alongside his sets, he takes full responsibility for the station's music selection — the sound, the flow, the identity of everything you hear on air.

His story began in 1986, when Madness chose to make DJing his profession at a time when Swiss club culture barely existed. With his label Delirium he staged Switzerland's first official techno party, co-founded the magazine Raveline, helped define the first Zurich Street Parade, and launched SUB ZERO Records, the country's first techno label. In 1995 he was named DJ of the Year from among 80 nominated Swiss DJs.

He was also the first Swiss DJ to play the Budapest Parade and the legendary Café del Mar in Ibiza, with further appearances at London's Turnmills and The Egg Club.
